Things you should never do after eating

No bedtime stories immediately after food
Going to bed immediately or taking a short nap right after having a heavy meal may cause several health complications such as discomfort, gas pains, and bad sleep. So, take a shower before your meal or wait for at least 1-2 hours till the food is digested.
Don’t go ‘Fruity’
Having fruits is very important in a diet but, not preferable immediately after a meal. Fruits are the easiest to digest, and just take 20 minutes to reach to the stomach and intestines, after a meal, it may get stuck with the food, and will not travel in time to the intestines. As a result, both fruit and food eaten will be spoiled.  Consuming fruits at any time during the day is good except consuming them immediately after a meal. Eating fruits right after your meal can results in filling the stomach with air and cause bloating. So, plan the consumption of fruits before or after 1-2 hours of a meal, avoid digestive problems.
Delay the drink time: Tea or coffee
Consumption of tea or coffee right after eating will prevent the body from absorbing iron from food. Certain research studies have shown that the absorption of iron reduced by 87% and can result in anemia, pale skin, cold hands and feet, dizziness and loss of appetite. Wait at least 1 hour after the intake of meal.
Don’t belt your stomach
Loosen the belt immediately after a heavy meal is bad for the intestines or stomach. It’s a sign that one has consumed food more than required, which is not good for the body. So, it is preferably better to loosen the belt prior to the meal.
No walk, can talk
Doing excessive exercise like climbing rocks, running or walking immediately after a meal shouldn’t be followed, as it may lead to serious acid reflux and indigestion. One can opt to walk after a meal but at least 30 minutes later.
No brushing teeth?
Brushing teeth before going to bed is perfectly a good habit, but not encouraged immediately after a meal, as it is extremely harmful for the teeth. Brushing after eating will scrub away the layers of enamel on the teeth. So, protect the teeth enamel by, waiting to brush for at least 30 minutes.
Don’t drink water!
Drinking 8 glasses of water every day is a must to stay healthy. But, gulping it down right after eating something or having a good meal, or even during meals will disrupt digestion. Try to avoid drinking water for at least 1 hour after a meal and also, don’t drink it while eating.
Don’t eat and drive
While having a good meal, the digestion system requires a large amount of blood, which is concentrated in the digestive tract. Also, because of satiation you fall sleepy, and driving with sleepy eyes is always risky and dangerous. Therefore, don’t push yourself to drive immediately after a meal, think of driving after an hour or two.
